Fused Filament Fabrication
We have several FFF printers capable of polymer printing including an Ultimaker S5 and several Ender 3 printers.
Electrodynamic Shaker
The lab has a TIRA TV51140 electrodynamic shaker 400 N shaker for 0-6500 Hz actuation, including sine and random excitation.
Stereolithography
Our lab includes a FormLabs 3B stereolithography printer capable of biocompatible printing and other resin-based polymers.
Laser Doppler Vibrometer
We have a PolyTec scanning laser doppler vibrometer capable of measuring up to 50 kHz with onboard signal processing capabilities.
UV Cure Direct Writing
The lab includes an in-house direct write UV curable printer with 3-axis control and dual nozzle capabilities.
Quasi-Static Loading
We have a Mark-10 tensile and compression tester for quasi-static experiments including three point bending, wire tension, and basic material characterization.
